Yeppoon Lagoon is a popular swimming spot for both locals and tourists and is one of the main attractions of Yeppoon, Central Queensland.

It was built in 2017-2018 with the official opening held on Saturday May the fifth 2018. With several dignitaries in attendance, the event was well attended and supported by locals from all over Central Queensland.

The 2500 square metre lagoon style pool has a water depth ranging from 0.75 metres to three metres and is supervised by friendly lifeguards on duty during the weekdays, weekends, and school holidays all year round.

It is a great place to take the kids or just enjoy some time with your family, it has a kiosk with drinks and snacks, an outdoor BBQ area, bar and restaurant with fine dining and a skate park nearby. Yeppoon Lagoon also offers free WiFi to visitors!

There are two aquatic wheelchairs to cater for both adults and kids. The lifeguards will be able to assist you with this on request.

The Yeppoon Lagoon kiosk is called the Rocks Café which serve a variety of take away food and coffee.

There is also the Rocks Health Bar which is located at the other end of the building that serves fresh juices, Acai bowls, coffee and healthy lunch options.

The Yeppoon Lagoon Café opening hours differ from the pool opening hours.

The Yeppoon Lagoon has large, grassed areas great for family reunions or just relaxing in the sun enjoying your picnic basket or your favourite treat from the Rocks Café or the Rocks Health Bar.

Located upstairs from the Rocks Café is the Rocks Bar and Restaurant. The restaurant provides fine dining with a view out across the bay to the islands and over the Lagoon.

At the other end of the building is the bar. This is a great place for an after-dinner drink and easy meet up spot.
